Celebration of Father’s Day (What is a Father?)

Happy Fathers Day

Father’s Day is a momentous day to respect and congratulate fathers whom loyally through their strengths, protectiveness, inexhaustible determination, support, and consistent caring for their kid(s) made a rewarding contribution to humanity.  Fathers can be humble at times or stern, a father can be a source of learning life experiences, he can be someone who aids in most trying moments, he can be the force of good guidance and lenient discipline -he is also the participant who gave life, who carried his child/children through life and eased the child’s pain, fears, doubts, and gave encouragement to the child’s success. A father can be categorized in various ways as follows: Grandfathers, great-grandfathers, adoptive fathers, step-fathers, father-in-law, single dads, fathers to be, grieving fathers, military dads, uncles, priests, teachers, guardians, etc.

A father at the location of birth of his child is usually proud and joyous. Sometimes a father might not show his true feelings but he loves his child and wants progress for his child. He might drive/walk his child to school, go on family vacation, inspire his kids, a father can be carefully vigilant in a child’s safety and education. He is there when a child achieves or fails. When he does not sleep, he sacrifices himself to attend the child who is crying, needs affection or attention.

A father’s words of knowledge can endure a lifetime of remembrance. Fathers might not be entirely perfect in their rearing methods or perspectives -nevertheless, it does no good to society to hold animosity or regret towards your father. Rearing tactics are mainly based on societal level, religion, country, race, tradition, education, norms and more. Father’s Day is a day to focus on how because of your father you have become a better individual. Even those acting as fathers should be remembered. Never forget the great man of honor who is or was your father.

Happy Father’s Day !
