French Art de Vivre

The prestigious French champagne producers Perrier-Jouët re-inaugurated their historical house that is located in Épernay France. Perrier-Jouët are not just Champagne producers but, arts promotors since their foundation.  Maison Perrier-Jouët was created in 1811 with the purpose of joining the passion of the French marriage of monsieur Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët for arts, nature and the interesting flavors of champagne. The marriage lived for many years in this house and gave them the original concept that remains until the present.

Through years of habiting this lovely and unique home, the continuous generations of hosts have influenced its design with details of their character and passion that are immersed in the collections of art pieces, the magnificent gardens and the architecture. It is admirable that in spite of the passage of the generations, Perrier-Jouët has improve their product keeping the same philosophies about both champagne production and the consideration of arts as their distinguishable mark.

The house received its name, Belle Epoque, due to the fact that it contains a large number of important artistic masterpieces that are kept as an exclusive collection. Artists like Hector Guimard, Louis Majorelle, François-Rupert Carabin or Emile Gallé that were iconic representors of the movement of the French Art Nouveau; artist that gave the house its principal anemone motif as a unique symbol. Therefore, Maison Perrier-Jouët’s is not just an inimitable architectonic design but a reminiscence of art and Champagne where the artistic philosophy of the Maison Belle Epoque and the magistral attention to the comfortability of the guest take place.

The ceremony, that was a real and elegant recommence of the historical house, was characterized by the enjoyable flavors of champagne and the endeavors for giving the guests a warm reception to the idiosyncratic concept of Maison Perrier-Jouët. The house was being restored during two years. Nevertheless, the efforts of the restoring were well worth because the elegance was the protagonist in the celebration. Around one hundred fifty personalities that included fashion experts, models and representors of the international scene assisted to the celebration. For example the Karolina Kurkova, who is a top model, and is a fan of arts and of Maison Perrier-Jouët. Kurkova posed for several fashion photos where she showed her embellished feelings about the event.

The rooms of the house were wonderfully refurbished with the design of the Maison Belle Epoque; a new bespoke marquee was added to the garden where the guests will find the refinement and warmth of innovative kitchen of Michelin-starred chef Akrame and the last word respecting the best collection of champagne of Perrier-Jouët such as the Blanc de Blancs and the classic Brut Belle. While the guests enjoyed the wide variety of delicatessens of the house, Djs Polo and PAN seasoned the reception with a combination of the modern music with the harmony that Maison Perrier-Jouët has pursued since its origin, the harmony of a glorious and glamorous past that is exalted within a more refined present towards the future.
