JIXI Design Studio has been awarded Best Luxury Contemporary Apartment Interior Design by Luxury Lifestyle Awards for its inventive and thoughtful work on the Bunny Roundness project in Taichung City, Taiwan.
Founded in 2012 by Chief Designer Yu Cheng Wang, JIXI Design Studio crafts personalized, human-centric spaces. The studio’s philosophy is all about a good design that is invisible, and that allows one to naturally connect and love the everyday environment. Bunny Roundness is a clear example of this approach, shaped with care for a family with a young daughter, it offers a safe, comfortable space that adapts easily over time.
The apartment features soft curves throughout walls, furniture, and circulation paths that are rounded to support active play and minimize risk. A large Miffy lamp, standing nearly two meters tall, provides both a striking visual point and a playful atmosphere. The layout avoids fixed pathways, allowing flexible use of space, while clever storage solutions support daily life without visual clutter.
Sustainability was a major consideration. JIXI selected low-emission, non-toxic materials and worked with natural light to reduce dependence on artificial sources. The result is a space that is friendly to both its occupants and the environment.
