Kelly Perdew is an American businessman that won the second season of the TV Show called “The Apprentice”. He was born on January 29, 1967 in Lexington Kentucky and he grew up in Florida and Wyoming.Before winning the show, Perdew was president of CoreObjects Los Angeles. It is an outsourcing company that focuses on software development.

Kelly Perdew went to the United States Military Academy at WestPoint where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in National Security and Public Affairs. This happened in 1989. He graduated as the number one ranked cadet in his field of study and the top 5% of the whole class.

Perdew went on in order to receive training Ranger and Airborne tactics after going go WestPoint. He worked with the House Armed Services Committee as an intern and he spent a semester at the Naval Academy “On Exchange”. He was also a finalist at the Rhodes Scholar Competition. For three years, he served as a military intelligence in the United States Army where he was honorably discharged.

Perdew attended graduate schools at the UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) where, in 1995, he earned a joint JD/MBA degree from the School of Law at UCLA and the UCLA Anderson School of Management.  While he was in law school, he worked at the firm Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher but only part- time.

Perdew was an important participant in The Apprentice when he was 37 years old and the oldest candidate in the show. At the end of the second season of the show, he was chose him to become his apprentice. He nominally managed The Trump Place construction which was located in The Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York. However, what he actually did was promote it. And at the end of 3rd season of The Apprentice, it was revealed that Kelly Perdew was an executive vice-president for the bottled water brand owned by Trump that is called Trump Ice.

Moonshots Capital is an early syndicate in early stage and Perdew is its Managing Partner. He has not only invested in more than 30 technology companies and early stage but has also acted as a board member or advisor for many of these companies. Some of them include Linkedln and Pandora. He is also the founder as well as CEO of TargetClose. He was the CEO of Fastpoint Games before founding TargetClose.  And before Fastpoint Games, he was president of a social networking site for mixed martial arts called ProElite.com. Perdew was also the President of eTeamz.

He also participated in a show called G.I Factory that was showed on the Military Channel where he filmed 9 episodes. He also participated in a commercial with Donald Trump that was titled “Today’s Military”. He was the author of a book called “Take Command: 10 Leadership Principles Learned in the Military And Put To Work For Donald Trump.

American Family Protection is another company founded by Kelly Perdew. Currently, Perdew serves at the Code of Support Foundations on the board of advisors.
