Mauricio Gardenal is the founder of the Gardenal & Associati International law firm established in 1990 with headquarters in the city of Milan, Italy.

He took his studies of law in the University of Bologna where he graduated cum laude.

After his graduation, he turned responsible for the legal affairs of the company FIN RITZ in Bologna, representative of different international businesses such as Polo, Ralph Lauren and Timberland. He also collaborated with the New York based law firm Grant-Herrmann-Schwarz & Klinger.

He is enrolled in the Milan Bar Association in order to practice law in the Rome Court of Cassation.

Beside his duty as a lawyer, he has also written several articles and publications in Italian and English for different newspapers and magazines such as “Kluwer Law International”, “Il Corriere della Sera”, “Il Sole 24 Ore” and “Ipsoa”. Also in the writing area, the “Business in USA” legal section of “Il Sole 24 Ore” has been prepared by him as an operational guide to export and invest in the United States. He has also co-written “The Recovery of International Receivables” published by Ipsoa. In addition, he collaborates with the editor of “Il Sole 24 Ore” as publishing supervisor of the column “Observatory in International Law” and also writes for the magazine “Newsmercati” published by the Union of Lombardy Chambers of Commerce.

Furthermore, he has collaborated in activities in the area of comparative private law by the “Center for International Legal Studies” based in Salzburg.

Additionally, he is a lecturer and speaker on topics related to contracts, international corporations and financial law collaborating with institutions such as Confindustria, Professional Associations, Chambers of Commerce and some private organizations like the International Institute of Research with office in London. He is a consultant and lecturer of the New International Business Institute (NIBI) in the areas of international law and cross-border litigation.

He is member of several organizations such as the Legal Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, Confindustria, the International Bar Association (IBA), the North American Regional Forum and the Humans Right Institute.

Likewise, he was appointed on the list of consultants of the U.S. Consulate in Milan and as an expert in international law by the Union of Lombardy Chambers of Commerce.

He founded the International Law Firm Gardenal & Associati in association with Claudio Gardenal, Barbara Camatel and Christian Montana nowadays.

The main objective of the firm is the legal and economic issues that could affect companies with offices in Italy and abroad in an environment marked by the evolution to global market.

Also, the firm provides assistance to individual and international customers in areas such as family law, inheritance and civil law as well. Moreover, It collaborates with all major institutions in Italy and worldwide such as the US Consulate in Milan, the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy, the ABA (American Bar Association), the IBA(International Bar Association), the NIBI, the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso and Belluno and with the publisher of “Il Sole 24 Ore”.
