Alfred Dean

You know that an Australian named Alfred Dean captured a 2,664-pound great white shark in 1959? The International Game Fish Association has identified it as the largest fish ever caught. During his fishing career, he also caught two other great whites that weighed more than one ton. Outside of Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Grapevine, Texas, there is a replica of the world record-breaking shark.
