We unequivocally condemn Trump’s attacks on 52 Iranian sites. These acts of extreme provocation escalate tensions in a region that has seen loss of innocent lives from wars in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
Trump’s acts of aggression not only escalates tensions in the middle east but places the lives of USA citizens at home and abroad in grave jeapardy. American society needs to rise against the monster that they have created.
Following his impeachment, Trump’s bruised ego has exacerbated his penchant for macabre acts of stupidity. This latest installment demonstrates the grave danger that his policy of unilateralism holds for peace in the middle east and the world.
We call on the United Nations to condemn these bullying acts of aggression and for Trump to be brought before the International Criminal Court. We must not allow him to get away with this in the same way that Bush and Blair got away with their farcical war on weapons of mass destruction.
Iran is a sovereign state and within its full rights under international law to defend itself, its citizens and its borders. It is entirely within its right to respond to unjust attacks against its sovereignty.
We must stop the Trump insanity; his attacks on immigrants, muslims, women, minorities and now Iran is an attack on humanity and our values of peace, justice and human rights in the world.
