DEEP AERO is building an autonomous drone economy powered by AI and blockchain. DEEP AERO is a global leader in drone technology innovation. It is building an AI-driven, autonomous, self-governing, intelligent drone/unmanned aircraft system (UAS) traffic management (UTM) platform on the blockchain. It is designed to enable safe low-altitude civilian flights of manned and unmanned aircraft in the shared airspace.
Current airspace management and air traffic flow management systems don’t have the capabilities to handle the type of operations relevant to drones. In addition, the anticipated traffic density of drones is far beyond the capabilities of current air traffic management systems. DEEP AERO is currently researching prototype technologies such as airspace design, dynamic geo-fencing, congestion management, terrain avoidance, route planning, rerouting, separation management, sequencing and spacing, and contingency management. DEEP AERO’s DRONE-UTM includes universal drone registration standards, secure identification systems, tamper-proof flight data recorders, accurate and trustworthy 3D mapping data, dynamic weather information, and secure vehicle-to-vehicle communication.
DEEP AERO’s DRONE-MP, a decentralized marketplace, will be a one-stop shop for all products and services for drones. This platform will be the foundation of the drone economy and will be powered by the DEEP AERO (DRONE) token.
Please tell us what some of the company highlights have been? And what are its goals and objectives?
The Company is building autonomous drone economy from the ground up. We foresee the technology evolving from manual to semi-autonomous to fully-autonomous drones contributing in our daily lives. The technology that is being built is very innovative and will be the foundation of drone traffic management in the future.

Please tell us about the DRONE token and how people can invest?
DRONE token is going to be the soul of the Drone economy that DEEP AERO is building. People can contribute with as little as 0.1 ETH. It’s a crowdfunding campaign where people are enabling us to build the future. It’s a very easy process. They need to visit the ICO website and click on “Buy Drone Tokens” button. You will be asked to create an account on the website and you will be shown the DEEP AERO (DRONE) token sale smart contract address where you need to send your ETH contribution.
What’s next for DEEP AERO?
These are very exciting times for the DEEP AERO team. The team is growing, and we plan to hire top-notch talent to build the platform. The focus is to complete the ICO and release the beta version of DRONE-MP platform.
Ishmeet, instinct versus expertise: Which is more important and why?
Both are equally important. Expertise is necessary to perform and deliver. Having good instincts is necessary to compensate for unforeseen things and events. Both are required in equal measure to function at the highest possible level of our ability.
What is the most challenging part of your work?
Convincing and getting team members to work together towards one common objective.
What was your most rewarding professional experience?
What we are doing now at DEEP AERO is incredibly rewarding. As a blockchain and ICO advisor, I am working with some really great new companies such as Digital Disintermediation Pte Ltd and Expercoin. These companies have been set up by really smart people. It’s intellectually stimulating and rewarding working with such great teams and the satisfaction of getting these projects off the ground is the best reward that one can ask for.
Ishmeet, what drives you?
The intent to make myself better every day by a small fraction in all aspects of my life and learn something new every day.
As a member of the advisory board, what is a day in your life like?
I start my day early. I like to strategize early in the morning. I build my To Do list for each day in advance, and I like to get things off it in the first half. Most of the day is planned ahead and a lot of time goes into speaking with prospective investors and partners. I like to finish my work early and be home and spend time with my family. I do some of the online meetings from home.
What makes you smile?
My daughter.
What scares you?
The thought of not being able to learn or be independent in my later stages of life.
What is your greatest achievement?
Yet to come.
What is your secret talent?
I love to sing. I am always singing whenever I am alone.
Which historical figure do you most admire?
I admire two historical figures the most – Guru Gobind Singh and Abraham Lincoln
Ishmeet, do you have any hobbies?
I love playing chess, basketball, badminton, reading books and dancing.
What are you never without?
I have a photograph of my family with me always. It keeps me grounded and focused on what’s really important in life.

I would change myself to be a better human being.
What advice would you give to anyone starting a new business?
Starting a new business is like trying to skateboard on burning lava oozing from an active volcano. One should do it only if they have the passion and the grit to make it a success come what may. If you cannot deal with uncertainty and cannot learn to say no to a lot of things, you shouldn’t consider starting a business.
