Brown Jordan International (BJI), a leader in luxury furniture design, named David Kennedy a divisional president of Brown Jordan. Kennedy will lead Brown Jordan’s sales team, while being an integral member of senior leadership to help execute the brand’s new strategic vision.
Kennedy brings more than 20 years’ experience with leading brands in the design and furniture industries. Most recently, he served as vice president of contract for Design Within Reach, where sales increased four times during his tenure, and concurrently served as vice president of retail for Herman Miller. Prior to that, Kennedy was regional director for North America at DEDON.
Kennedy also serves as industry chair on the national board of directors of the American Society of Interior Designers and is a corporate advocate for Be Original America, an organization committed to educating the design industry on the value of authenticity.
