Drawing on over 40 years of experience in real estate, Ms. Smith excels as a Realtor with Fathom Realty Rocky Mount, NC and Pointe Realty Group Littleton, – Lake Gaston NC and VA through which she assists clients in listing, buying and designing residential and waterfront properties. She is proficient in new construction where she has and is currently working in new residential developments and designing new construction for sale.
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Smith gained valuable expertise as a real estate broker with a commercial real estate and property management company in Rocky Mount, NC. She developed years of experience being a member in the ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers). Ms. Smith also graduated from the Commercial Leasing Institute at the University of Michigan.
An expert in her field, Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from East Carolina University. Over the years, she has expanded upon her professional knowledge by earning the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), a REALTORS® Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), a Seller Representative Specialist® (SRS), an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®), and a Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®) certification through the National Association of Realtors.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Smith aligns herself with several organizations, including the Lake Gaston Board of Realtors and the Rocky Mount Association of Realtors, North Carolina, and National Associations of Realtors. Outside of her work, she contributes to her community through the First Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, NC. Donna was a dedicated participant as a teaching leader in Bible Study Fellowship, and a sustaining member with the Junior Guild in Rocky Mount, NC.
Her greatest joys in life are her son Stephen who lives in Florida, her daughter Kenan, her husband Matt, and their golden retriever Layla in Charlotte, NC.
