Evie Jeang. Founder of Ideal Legal Group. President and CEO of Surrogacy Concierge

Evie Jeang was born in Taiwan, and she moved to the United States at the age of 12. Her parents divorced when she was young, and she was raised by her grandparents. She attended UCLA. Jeang studied law and was determined to make partner at the law firm she worked at. Career-driven, she knew she wanted a child but didn’t want to get married. She froze her eggs in her twenties, and later had her son, Evan, via surrogate in 2014. She found out she had a tumor the size of a grapefruit in her Uterus during the egg retrieval after she had decided to have a child via surrogate.

Evie is a lifelong supporter and advocate for women empowerment. She believes in equal rights and opportunities for women. She has her own podcast, Evie Unbounded, dedicated to enlightenment, spirituality, work-life balance, women equality and empowerment and much more.

Prior to founding Ideal Legal Group, Ms. Jeang was an attorney with Armstrong & Sigel, serving industry leaders such as Southwest Airlines, Costco Wholesale, LAUSD, Laidlaw Transit, Adelphia Communications, Goodwill Industries and American Medical Response. She was also a senior associate at State Compensation Insurance Fund, as well as County Counsel for Los Angeles County Child Support Service.

With her impressive international legal background and experience having a child via surrogate, Jeang founded Surrogacy Concierge in Alhambra, CA to help couples create families. Many LGBTQ+ couples have choosen Surrogacy Concierge because of their world class associates, which are comprised of hospitality professionals, legal professionals and medical professionals, all of which are ready, able and willing to assist and ensure an effortless and confidential process of expanding families.

In addition to Ideal Legal Group, Inc. and Surrogacy Concierge, Ms. Jeang is proud of her non-profit project, Raised by A Village (RBAV). An extension of Ideal Legal Group, RBAV echoes the work that she consistently advocates to do—assisting and guiding clients and their families in times of need. RBAV’s mission is to provide mentorship to children of divorced families and to ensure that no child experiences a shortage of love, care or joy because of divorce. We have all heard the ancient proverb “It takes a village to raise a child.”

Ms. Jeang’s impact extends outside the courtroom via a series of philanthropic activities primarily catered toward helping minority-owned businesses in the Los Angeles area, and the younger generation in her local community. She serves as the 2nd Vice President for the Asian Youth Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving both the social and educational needs of Asian immigrants and at-risk low income and adjudicated youth. Ms. Jeang also serves on the Asian Pacific Islander Alumni Board at the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as several other boards for various organizations throughout the community. Jeang currently serves on multiple non-profit and private boards. Her most recent nominations are for the Women’s Network in Electronic Transactions (WNET) President’s Advisory Council and ID Tech’s Board of Directors. The Council represents the voices of women leaders and male advocates across the payment industry. Ms. Jeang is fluent in Mandarin, Chinese and Taiwanese.
