A groundbreaking, free, relationship-making app where people meet virtually and get to know each other through games without the pressure of meeting IRL.
As recently seen on Yahoo! & FOX LA, Sparkze wants to help young people’s mental health and combat loneliness by helping guide people in showing their true selves through icebreakers and video features to build real genuine connections. When developing the app, the team asked themselves, “why is society as connected as we are also the loneliest, and why are digital natives (adults 18-30) struggling more than any other generation?” They found that:
1.- Over 70% of digital natives express feelings of loneliness
2.- One in five GenZ is without a single friend
3.- 48% have tried dating apps, but only 8-10% are still using them
Dating apps are local, but not social…and Social apps do social, but not local. So the team created Sparkze, where you can get to know the actual person before meeting them. The pandemic has changed how we will live and socialize. At the same time, according to studies, today’s youth are increasingly lonely. Now it’s time to leverage those interests with gameplay that helps people interact with and meet others.
