Joshua P. Crowder

Mr. Crowder is the owner of WNC Climate Control LLC, a family-owned and operated heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) company based in Weaverville, North Carolina. Specializing in providing an array of services to residential customers, including HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and replacements, the company also offers light commercial work in these same areas.

Striving to provide exceptional quality and craftsmanship, Mr. Crowder and his team maintain the highest standards to ensure every customer is satisfied. They also lead with integrity by maintaining a solid work ethic, and at the core of the business, the team carries a high level of honesty, fairness, and trust. Providing transparent communication, peace of mind, exceptional service, and affordable pricing has been paramount to Mr. Crowder’s success.

As part of Mr. Crowder’s responsibilities, he oversees daily operations, project management, and staff management. Established in 2020 after over 25 years employed by other heating and cooling companies, he focused heavily on developing stellar leadership qualities and building and growing his organization into what it is today. Now recognized as a leading organization in the HVAC sector, Mr. Crowder looks forward to continued success, contributing to the local economy and customers needing quality service. He also projects continual growth by doubling or tripling its revenue and workforce in the coming years.

Mr. Crowder began his career as a technician and worked his way up in the industry. He joined Bolton Corporation in 2000 as an HVAC commercial mechanics apprentice, was employed by Palmetto Air & Water Balance as a technician’s apprentice, and was a commercial field manager for Gentry Heating Inc.

Drawing inspiration from family, Mr. Crowder’s grandfathers and his father succeeded in the heating and cooling sectors. Owing his achievements to the tremendous mentorship he received from them and others, he is humbled and grateful for the time they invested in him.
As part of his civic responsibilities, Mr. Crowder has given back to various local and national causes. Most notably, he is active by sponsoring several local youth girls’ softball teams and donating to the Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

In preparation for his career in the industry, Mr. Crowder obtained an Associate of Applied Science in HVAC from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College in 2018. He also received H1, H2, and H3 licensure and certification in refrigeration in North Carolina. Continually committed to his field, Mr. Crowder is a member of the Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors.
