Hublot has thundered into the wristwatch market with its much-celebrated Spirit of Big Bang collection. The introduction of its new full carbon Gold Tiger has been well-received, a timepiece designed to replicate the big cat figure star-group of the Year of the Tiger. The 42mm barrel-shaped wristwatch has a beautiful gold-colored patterned frame and a black-design rubber strap, and is part of Hublot’s 42mm Spirit of Big Bang series.
Hublot’s integration technique, which combines timepiece elements for artistic and practical considerations, combines carbon fibre with 18-karat yellow gold to produce this model’s one-of-a-kind finish. And, like big cats in the open with their own distinct personalities, this technological mechanism will make sure that replication never occurs. Every one of the 200 Hublot-made Carbon Gold Tiger pieces in the Spirit of Big Bang ensemble will have a different gleaming gold frame design as an outcome of their ‘fusion’ process.
The Year of the Tiger motif is carried through to the watch’s straps effortlessly by Hublot. The watch comes with a rubber strap that is fashioned like the fiery stripes on a wild tiger’s skin. The strap, which is secured by a black ceramic with black-plated titanium opening latch, may be replaced with the yellow-gold-colored, Velcro-wound fabric-based strap that is also included as an option for the package.
A superb self-winding skeletal timepiece, reference HUB4700, with a silicon chronograph movement and a 50-hour operating backup, is housed inside Hublot’s watch. Another great thing about it is that it is 100 metres water resistant.
There are just 200 pieces of this iconic watch, all unique and distinct. You can get your hands on one of them for $35,700.
