Longstanding successful Florida-based development firm the Mahaffey Company is bringing their Carlton apartment concept to West Melbourne. The selected property is permitted for garden-rise multi-family use within a growing region. The 382-unit rental community is located at the intersection of Palm Bay Road and I-95, off Hollywood Blvd., and is currently under construction. This lakefront development contains 16 residential buildings designed in the traditional Florida vernacular utilizing wood frame construction.
The development team worked cooperatively with the city to obtain planning approval for the project. BSE Consultants is the Civil Engineer. The Architect Fugleberg Koch led the effort, designing the site plan and luxury apartments. Choosing not to follow today’s trend of smaller living spaces, Fugleberg Koch created large Open Concept Plans with Sunrooms, Double Master Bedrooms and Balconies with lake views. The Clubhouse features a social lounge, fitness center, and conference room. Outdoor amenities include a zero entry pool, playground and dog park.
